Epigenetic Alchemy is a process and practice that works through radical honesty about what is. The kind of transformative healing we catalyze is only possible when we reckon with reality.

To be specific (though not exhaustive), this means that we move from an understanding that settler colonialism, racial capitalism, white supremacy and anti-Blackness are the foundation of the current world system. We are honest about the ways we are complicit with genocide, exploitation and displacement of indigenous peoples from the Congo to Palestine, from Tibet to Turtle Island.

We will not promise or pretend that we can take away all the pain of structural violence. It is out of alignment with our core values to spiritually bypass the material reality of systemic harm.

The kind of real, lasting healing that we long for won’t come from any one person, program, healing modality, or organization.

What we do is provide support and tools for progressive leaders to unlock more of their power and purpose.

Because what will bring lasting healing is reparations, land back to indigenous peoples, truth & reconciliation processes, universal basic income, universal healthcare, and a society grounded in care.

In some cases, ancestral trauma can be so severe that we will need to refer out because it is beyond our ability to hold space. It would be unethical to overstep our training and capacity with issues as important and difficult as these.

Examples are hearing voices, psychic attack, fear of hexes or spiritual control, being incapacitated by 5G, etc.

Tragically, Epigenetic Alchemists gifted with the sensitivity to heal bloodlines can be targeted in dysfunctional families. The family system senses the powerful transformative potential of the Epigenetic Alchemist’s radical courage, and family members may attempt to maintain control by abusing power and causing harm.

As in the cases listed above, we are unable to provide direct, problem-solving support although we care deeply and often empathize directly.

For these situations, we recommend working with organizations experienced and resourced to support survivors in accessing safety on their own terms.

Camellia [pronouns they or she] is not a therapist, social worker, or mental health professional. They are specifically trained in transformational coaching for equity and experienced in supporting educators to implement justice in schools. As a Chinese medical clinician and certified facilitator of Daoist breathwork/embodiment, Camellia holds space for the physical, emotional, and spiritual sequelae of structural violence.

It is beyond Camellia’s scope of practice to support people who are experiencing altered states, interpersonal violence, housing instability, and other situations of severe distress. Out of a commitment to ethical practice, Camellia will not take on clients going through these challenges.

This form of Transformational Coaching is incredibly helpful for heart-centered radicals who have their basic survival needs met and are able to function in society, but feel that systemic oppression is keeping them from doing what they were born to do.
